Posting in Facebook could land you in jail

This is one example. Although the lady was drunk, and should have been sent to jail anyway, this is an example of how putting dumb things on Facebook may land you in jail. So be careful!!!!!

Facebook Posting Lands Woman A Contempt Of Court Charge

A common acronym for "laugh out loud" on the internet is "lol." But a Woodford County judge wasn't laughing over comments a woman posted on her Facebook page regarding a serious DUI crash. A crash, police say, she caused. Now, the judge has held the woman in contempt of court. 

Woodford District Judge Mary Jane Phelps warned Paula Asher over her Facebook postings about a serious DUI crash that happened on July 20. Asher didn't listen, and ended up in jail. 

Police say Asher drove drunk and t-boned another car with four people in it, then left the scene of the accident. The crash landed her in hot water, but so did her Facebook comments. "I didn't think 'lol' would put me in jail," said Asher. 

After the crash, Asher posted the following on her Facebook page: "my dumb (expletive) got a dui and I hit a car...lol." 

Some parents of the teenagers in the other car read the comments and told the court. That's when Phelps ordered Asher to close her Facebook account, but she didn't. "I really wasn't trying to make fun of (the crash)," claims Asher. 

The judge found asher in contempt of court and put her in jail for two days when she ignored the order and kept her Facebook account. "I had to go pull my time in," said Asher. "I did and they said I'm not allowed to have Facebook." 

Asher says she's learned her lesson. "I apologize to everybody," she said. "i apologize to the judge. I didn't mean to hurt anybody." 

Asher will face the judge again September 27 on all the charges, including possession of a controlled substance.

Facebook under-rated paganism

Ok 1- The angels don't have a say in the matter.  They don't decide when things begin and they don't decide when things are over. 2- The Bible never, not once, tells us that we must 'believe in angels'.  In fact, that's idolatry.  We believe IN God, not created things and angels (if you accept that they exist at all) are nothing more than creatures.  They aren't omniscient.  They aren't omnipresent.  They aren't omnipotent.  They're mere creatures. 3- If some 'angel' is 'testing you' to see whether or not you'll repost a picture on Facebook they have too much time on their hands and need to get busy with their real task which, according to Hebrews, is οὐχί πᾶς εἰμί λειτουργικός πνεῦμα εἰς διακονία ἀποστέλλω διά ὁ μέλλω κληρονομέω σωτηρία (Heb 1:14). If your 'angelology' says more than that of them, you're in error and in danger of heretical belief.  And if you get your theology from Facebook picture postings, repent. Via Zwinglius Redivivus

How some Americans see God in sports, and they are not alone at that. Does God takes sides in a football game?

Dear European friends confused about the American phenomenon of Tebowing. Let me explain. Some Americans think Jesus picks football games, and that he has a favourite player called Tim Tebow. Last night in a football game, this QB threw for 316 yards, and some of my folks back home said it wasn't coincidence that he threw for 316 yards because it points to John 3:16. Not kidding. Unbelievable, but sadly true.

There's a highway somewhere in the USA, Route 66, where some Christians believe that it reflects the Highway mentioned in the book of Isaiah!! I am not kidding.

I remember when the Football (not Soccer) World Cup in South Africa on 2010, Chileans friends were praying on Facebook that their teams should win. One got particular mad at me, because I questioned her how she figured that God took sides with the teams? She got so mad, that she deleted me from her FB friends. And God, it seems, wasn't on her team's side, since Chile didn't go that far into the tournament. If one team would have won, was Brazil, since the number of believers in the team was very high, yet, they didn't win.

This goes to show that God doesn't care about sports, so stop pretending He does. Tim Teabow may be a great athlete, but just because he is a believer, God will always favour his game.

Just imagine, two christian teams going at each other. Who will God go for? Totally nonsense, and irreverent, if you ask me.

Careful, Facebook can track you, even when you are logged out

The new changes in Facebook, apparently, are designed to make you a target of their advertising.

"Even if you are logged out, Facebook still knows and can track every page you visit," Cubrilovic wrote in a blog post.
"The only solution is to delete every Facebook cookie in your browser, or to use a separate browser for Facebook interactions."

Having to use a specific browser just for Facebook is totally inconvenient.

And it gets more interesting, or appalling!!

"While initially opt-in, the default then seems to be expose everything, and Facebook have form in the past for lowering protection after people get used to a certain level of initial protection - bait and switch,''

No liberty to say what you think if you are teacher against gay marriage

This teacher, cannot say what he thinks about "gay marriage" in his own facebook page, on his own computer, on his own time.

There will be a time that even thinking that homosexuality is wrong, will be outlaw, and those who thing such things will be taken to mental institutions to have a lobotomy done to your brain.

No kidding, these people are so radical, that they would re-introduce such a negligible procedure in order to prove their point.
