New Ministry, New Life

I have been moving from Sunshine in Victoria, Australia, to Barham, NSW, Australia. NSW, or New South Wales (NSW for short) in the last two weeks, and officially moved Wednesday last week. That means that we've been here for 8 days now. Times does fly.

I am here, for two years, hopefully more, learning rural ministry. I am learning from Ray Taylor, who is originally a farmer, and Geoff Lesley, who is the regional minister (something like a bishop for those who don't understand Baptist hierarchy), and was at the church for 17 years.

This is my first official day of work, and already visited a farm where the cows were being milked!! I am enjoying my time here, and I now have two offices, one at the house, and one at the church!!! In the coming weeks, I would like to set up a blog for the church, so I may be blogging a bit more.

Well, this Sunday will be my first sermon as the assistant pastor, Luke 10:25-32. Loving God and neighbor.
