The Chinese girl ran over by two vans, dies. Sad story

I think that this news has really hit me, because I have a two year old, and this has really, really hurt me. How can people be so heartless? And things get worst when you read what the first driver was doing when he did this atrocity, fighting with her then ex-girlfriend on the phone. He left the girl for dead, and drove away.

Now is time for soul searching in China. How their new found wealth has produced such selfish people. And this goes both for the victims and those who want to help them. Many good samaritans have been taken to court by people who have suffered a sort of calamity, in order to get money from them. The response to this, is what we have seen on the news, no one wants to help anybody.

This is one of the things we have to thanks the marvellous rise of living. It creates greed in victims and apathy in those who witness the misfortunes of others.

May she rest in peace now. May God have mercy on those who ran over her, and on those who didn't help. They will have to live with that shame till they die.

About the Chinese 2 yr. old who was run over by 2 cars, and 17 people just walked around her. Despicable.

I started looking at the video, but turned it off after the first run over of the girl. For a person who was brought up in a country that was going through civil war, I have grown weary when I see such things.

I just can't believe that China, a country with high family values, would let this happen. I admit that there's a great threat that in helping someone, you may be taken to jail for it. But a girl was lying, bleeding, and needed help.

I remember more than 20 yrs ago, in Los Angeles, in La Cienega Blvd, some UCLA students did a test, they were beating up a little boy, and nobody complained. But then, they beat up a dog, and people were up in arms, trying to stop such carnage!!!

This is what happens when human beings are taken off the center or pinacle of God's creation, and are just placed among the other "animals".

I watch the Animal Planet Channel, and when a lion tries to eat an Antelope, or other new borne animal, the older ones gather around to defend it.  Humans seems to have lost that communal touch.
